Opus Packaging – Indianapolis is pleased to announce it has entered into an agreement to acquire the assets of Arvco Indianapolis and has offered employment to all current Arvco Indianapolis employees effective September 28, 2020. Production will continue at the Arvco facility in Indianapolis and, in conjunction with the movement of the machinery, will gradually transition to the Opus facility in Whitestown over the next few months. This acquisition signifies Opus’ commitment to the Indianapolis market and strengthens our ability to enhance the performance of our customers.
For our customers, this acquisition enhances our ability to serve your packaging needs by expanding our reach in the Midwest region and tapping into the expertise and expanded capabilities of the existing facilities within Opus Packaging Group.
For our company, this acquisition immediately strengthens and balances our presence in the Indianapolis market to better serve our customers. Opus Packaging Group has been providing innovative packaging solutions to its customers since 1984, and opened a brand-new facility in Whitestown, Indiana in 2019. With a vision of becoming a world class provider in packaging solutions while leading in the markets that we serve, the acquisition of Arvco Indianapolis only puts us closer to achieving that goal.
